Redirect old URLS with SEO to new app. Angular + Symfony

Question

I'm having a situation where there is an existing website. It's going to get replaced by a new version made from scratch but I want to use old URL's which will exist for a while to preserve SEO score until Google robots remove them. I mapped these URL's for it's new objects in new database, so I can send a request API with an old URL and fetch data to build an URL to redirect it to. But I can't get it to work, or rather, to make it return 301 code and properly redirect to built URL.

I made a reverse proxy for node server which is bundled in Angular v20.

This is my guard:

What might be the problem? Is it even a good direction? There is not many of these old URL's, probably no more than 5k.

I want to remark, that I can't use my Symfony API to handle redirects because it's lying on a different domain.
